DAY #51

Hello followers.
I'm doing that thing with my mind and fingers again... What's it called... Writing.
So, what's up? Nothing much... I went into London today...
Oh my god it's a disaster.
Red smears everywhere, as if there had been a human attack on every square foot of street...
Running riot with infected, literally thousands surrounding you at any one time...
Yes, if I hadn't had my partial zombie invisibility today, I would be brains on toast.
Fortunately, the secure area we were heading for was heavily fortified and a safe haven for survivors.
Oh, and in case you were wondering why we risked death to make it into the capital, it was for one simple reason...
Reinforcing the will to survive.
Battling our way to Oxford Street, hundreds of non-infected met for a hope-restoring epic data distribution event.
Epic is an understatement.
It was the first time I had experienced true joy in about 5 years. There was a real buzz about the place.
Not only that, but the sheer quantity of survivors that turned out was breathtaking.
Genuinely inspiring that so many survivors still care about the fate of mankind, and are prepared to show up and show support.
We got a huge morale boost from our visit today... It made us think that we're not alone, and that life might be okay.
Eventually, awesome caring humans like the ones we met today might meet up and cure the infection... or at least repopulate.
I'm hopeful today. I'm ready to take the negative sides of post-apocalypse life. It's all going to be fine.
Right, that's an optimistic note to end on! I shall type at you tomorrow. Just remember...
Don't go outside (or judge me based on what I enjoy doing)!!
