Hello what is left of the world.
I remain indoors an awful lot.
And I suggest you do too... There are so many reasons why you should just stay inside all the time...
Mainly because there are undead outside. Who will attack and eat you. Because that's what they do. It sucks.
Yet... even in these horrible times, it's perfectly reasonable to have a nice day out... Like I did today!
So, what was it about today's activities for me that defines it as being 'nice'?
Maybe it was the weather? Perhaps it was the quality time spent with company? Or the rare joy of getting some fresh air?
It was all three. And then some.
Let's face it, since the infection began, there are very few reasons to be truly happy anymore. But I did actually enjoy myself today!...
Even though my long-awaited Badminton was cancelled due to 'zombies on court'... Seriously. I'm getting impatient!
That aside, It was fun. Some other survivors and I scoured nearby for vacant local safehouses. There weren't many...
Of course, the more we look, the more we find, but so far, nothing really caught our respective eyes. So the search continues!
During our little property hunt, we looted a trashed supermarket for most of our essentials... Canned foods, cereal, bread, etc.
After our successful 'shop', we came back and relaxed for a bit before I headed out to the cinema with my family.
Yes, you read that right, the cinema. Well, it was like a cinema. Well, it was...
Putting it simply, it used to be a cinema before the apocalypse, and it still is... It's just got more boarded up doors and less people.
Loads of people were there today though! It's probably because they only show films twice a month, so we all make the effort to go.
Everyone within a ten mile radius must have turned up because it was packed! I'm not surprised though... it was a nice venue.
As for the film, that was pretty funny. Something about a stuttering monarch... I reccommend you go see it if you're not undead!
So, a pretty nice day today on all accounts. Good company, fresh air, resupplied stocks and a movie. And I'm not dead.
