DAY #28

Hooray!
I found a place to live if the campus is ever overrun by the living dead!
My fellow survivors and I scouted out a few possibilities yesterday, and today, we decided on the one closest to a run-down Tesco...
A zombie could make it to the canned food aisle in 5 minutes dead. Haha!
You might be thinking "Hold on... Tesco would be in the middle of the town... Isn't living that close to infected central a bit stupid?"
Maybe... But here's our reasoning:
Egham is a ghost town... There were hardly any people there to get bitten in the first place... It's almost completely deserted compared to... I dunno...
Staines! In fact, it's probably safer than where I'm holding up right now... All the Egham zombies are probably drawn to the light of the campus!
And this backup safehouse is pretty big... As in, sturdy. Looks as if it could take some punishment from the horde before it broke.
Usually the buildings that are left intact are quite hefty considering all the destruction caused when the army got involved...
Rung-based entry system, heavily reinforced windows and doors, plenty of individual safe rooms with acsessable emergency exits...
Useful features to have when the corpses of the world rise up and want your flesh!
So, all in all, a good find. Good location, good size, good resistance to zombies... The works!
Recalling all these good features almost makes me want the undead to break into campus so we have to live there instead...
Although probably not for a while... Just under a years time I'd say. That would be... reasonable.
Well, time to go... There are quite a few infected outside. Hopefully update you tomorrow!
