DAY #76

Hey there survivor.
Is it just me, or is salvation becoming less and less realistic every day?
The idea that the old human race might outlive this new breed of evil seems a bit like a depressing joke...
How can we cure the infection with so few survivors? How can we clear the streets? How will we repopulate?
Obviously, it's upsetting to think of the real scale of this apocalyspe.
Understanding just how screwed humanity is can drive people to suicide or deliberate infection.
Shit, we're both going to die. It's just a matter of time. What have we achieved?
Absolutely nothing in the scheme of things. What's the point in battling the horde daily if we're just keeping their meat fresh?
No... I shouldn't think like this...
Don't make the dead rising any worse...
So, why not make the most of it? Take risks that might not kill you, wear your heart on your sleeve so it's easier to bite...
Usually, I would warn you off taking risks, or even leaving your room...
Not today, though. Live each day like it's your last, because heck, it might well be.
Now, I don't know why I've just had a wave of optimism there, but I'm sure it will wear off soon.
You should probably try to catch me in a decent mood... They don't last long!
