It's a tricky one... Both have some benefits...
The flames do help 'clear up', if you know what I mean... but it does increase the risk. A lot.
So, yeah, these undead, they, uh, don't feel pain? They'll keep coming even if they're aflame!
Now that flamethrower you just used has made the horde twice as dangerous.
Oh, grats!
The general rule of thumb is this: If those things are within 50m, save the fuel. They'll stumble up to you like an inferno.
More than 50m, you might be able to get away with it. They might cook by then... Ah, probably, just don't do it.
