Hooray!
It's officially summer! And what better way to celebrate than tomorrow, huh?
I'm actually really excited! I've been waiting for this for like... All term!
Holiday! No more learning for anyone!
Only friends, fine weather, and daily fear of death from zombies. But that last one is... all the time, so... Overall, good.
Personally, looking back on the past academic year, I'd say this one was very... different, but in a positive way.
Empowering, mostly. Confusing sometimes. Interesting always.
Yes, I made some good survivor chums, I learnt how to look after myself (LOL!), and I experienced new feelings.
Oh, I am truly, truly grateful for those students who made my first year at Zombieversity so entertaining and emotionally unique.
Um... How can I phrase this... Thank you for noticing me!
Really, I wasn't expecting any attention... Definately not like that... So, I guess, um...
Ever change your mind, or... Just need a friend, or... Whatever... I'm here. Still alive. Fending off the horde.
XD ...You probably have no idea what I'm on about! I suppose I'm digitally proclaiming 'I'm yours' to whoever will listen.
And... I can share my Poliwhirl T-shirt if you like... We could scare off those undead bastards together!
Murray, stop it.
Well, I'm sorry, guys. I'm doing that 'only certain people are meant to understand this' thing again. And I don't even know if they do...
Ehh... I hope that people I'm referring to a) Are still alive b) Are reading my blog and c) Know I'm referring to them...
Nah... I don't care, really. I don't mind if said people just forget I exist altogether. Not a massive loss to them, to be fair...
The point is... I'd very much like to make a permanent, online, written record that thanks them. They don't have to know it.
Well, it would of couse be nice to know they'd seen it... But regardless. My first year was full of new experiences.
Experiences that I'd like to have again, if possible. But even if not, I'm infinitely thankful I had them once!
Let's be real. I'm not your average Joe. I'm in fact, very weird. I may not find acceptance like this for a while, so... THANK YOU!!!
Let that message be heard in every safehouse, in every makeshift fortress, let those wonderful survivors hear it!
And I hope they know who they are. (It could be you!)
My god... I'm really bad at doing actual apocalypse survival blogs while I'm at Uni... I end up doing social stuff...
Yes! Me! Social! And, on that bombshell...
