DAY #157

Howdy!
I'm back. Alive. Tired. Damp.
The amusement park was pretty epic. Very exciting. Actually, almost too exciting. I'm not sure I could take it all in...
How is anyone meant to see and do everything? There just aren't enough hours in the opening hours!
Oh, I did see a few zombies about though. A couple near the splashdown bit. Some more dotted about...
Really, though, I didn't care. They had distraction things... You know... Methods of amusing the zombies too.
Personally, I was less scared of the undead, and more scared of the actual rides!
Erm... Yeah. I lose manliness points for admitting I'm a wuss online, but... Didn't you know that already?
Point is... I didn't care about being bitten if I was whipping round a clattering metal rail that could give out at any minute!
As you may have guessed... I don't really like rollercoasters.
Rollercoasters are a strange invention. Designed to make humans experience speeds and angles they aren't meant to.
Kind of like... A terror enabler. Because I don't like doing physically unnatural actions. Especially not potentially lethal ones!
Well, even though I dislike these metal horrors, I did actually go on some. 3 pretty big ones, too!
And why did I go against what I knew I didn't like? It's for two main reasons: Shame and greed.
Shame because after accidentally queuing for one ride, I was far too embarrassed to walk out of the line and look like a pussy.
Greed because I had already paid to get in. Quite a few bottle caps, too. So there was no point not going on.
Rollercoasters are scary, but not as scary as other survivors judging me or not getting value for money!
Even as I sit here now, I'm still shaking from the pure speed of Stealth, the fear of Saw and the twists of Nemesis...
Actually... Looking back on today... It was fun. (And you won't catch me saying that often!)
That's all my news for today... So, how are you?
