DAY #294

Hello.
Is it me, or are the zombies actually moving faster? I swear to god they're picking up the pace...
Dead aren't walking the earth anymore... They're fucking running!
Anyway, where would be the best place to defend yourself against a zombie outbreak? Let me Zoogle that for you...
Well, it seems like 'in the countryside' or 'on a boat' are the two best results, and I suppose I agree, but it's not likely you can afford either.
No boat? Then you're fucked. No countryside retreat? Sorry, you're dead.
Of course you can survive in a stronghold if you don't alert the horde... They won't attack what they don't know is alive.
Finding somewhere that's up lots of flights of stairs, also known as The 28 Days Later Layout, that could work.
Those floors will buy you crucial preparation time if the undead break in, give you time to grab a weapon, etc. but then you are trapped.
Holding out in a shopping centre might work too... So long as it's locked down and reinforced. You'd have enough food and entertainment...
Except then you have to check each and every entrance every night to make sure that nothing gets in, which could be frustrating.
Don't attempt to hold out in a hospital or a supermarket, because they'll be survivor hotspots, and zombies will almost always be there.
Everybody... Just stay inside.
Attempting to set up camp in any other location is always a risk. You'll probably just get killed trying.
Dim the lights, board up the doors and windows and keep your crying under your breath... That's how I've survived this long!
