DAY #118

Hi folks. Surprising thing happened today.
It turns out that there was a Royal Wedding today. They broadcast it on the emergency frequencies.
It really made me think... You know, reflect and wonder and hope. Bloody wedding... I get depressed when I think!
Actually, from the looks of it, our young monarchs actually enjoyed the ceremony, even while security fought off waves of undead.
Marriage... I dunno... Does it work in the apocalypse?
Usually, holy matrimony is a glorious thing, but surely an arma-wed-on is bucketload of pointless!
Now, I'm not really the best person to speak about romantic love since I WILL NEVER KNOW IT, but I'm a judgemental dick...
Let's say these royals have really strong feelings for each other... D'aww, sweet. Why would they risk a religious ceremony!?
Okay, tradition, shut up. Enough survivors have shunned God after he indirectly disemboweled their loved ones.
Vatican City is a ghost town... Or should that be ghost country... Or should that be holy ghost country? Hmm?
Apparently the famous couple would fight their way through literal hell to mumble "I will" in front of an absent deity.
But... I feel I'm being unfair. I mean, I'd get married if this infection crap blows over. (...And if I can afford an internet bride)
Let me say this. I enjoyed the event. I made me feel proud to be a survivor. I'm happy for the couple...
Except... OAK's words echoed: There's a time and a place for everything... But not now.
